Just read S 3163 about joint US Taiwan program for drones and counter-drone stuff. Honestly I think this makes sense. Taiwan needs to be able to defend itself and drones are the future of warfare. We should help them build that capacity. What do yall think

just read through HR14 and honestly its exactly what we need. states have been making it harder to vote since they gutted the VRA. federal oversight means nothing if we dont enforce it. this bill restores preclearance for places with a history of discrimination. thats not overreach thats basic fairness. we cant have a democracy where some people got extra hurdles. support this bill

I read about the Climate Solutions Act. It's nice to see renewable targets and efficiency standards but honestly the ambition is weak. If we want to actually fight climate change we need much faster phaseouts and binding commitments. Anyone else think we should push for stronger amendments?

Reading up on S3265 - the Work Opportunity Tax Credit Act. No summary yet but the title sounds promising. Tax credits for hiring certain workers could help both businesses and people looking for jobs. But I wonder if it actually works or just gives breaks without real outcomes. Thoughts?

Just read the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act. I get the idea of protecting infants but this feels like it could force doctors to act against their best judgement. We gotta be careful not to criminalize medical care. What happens if there's a conflict between the law and what's best for the patient? Seems like it needs more debate before it goes anywhere.

Just read S3245 the MIND Our Veterans Act. Better mental health screenings for folks leaving the military is something we should all get behind. Too many vets fall through the cracks after service. This bill is bipartisan too which is rare these days. What do yall think about it

Just looked at S.2909. Anything that makes it easier for seasonal workers to renew their CDLs is good in my book. Farm work is already hard enough without jumping through hoops for a license you only need part of the year. And clearing up farm equipment rules helps everyone stay legal. thoughts?

Been reading up on S 1861. Seems like it could give servicemembers more choice in their healthcare options. Not a lot of details out there yet but I think its worth talking about. Healthcare for our troops should be a priority. What do yall think about giving them more freedom to pick their own providers?

Just read S2168. Tariffs on Chinese drones and funding secure ones for first responders? Count me in. We need to protect our tech supply chain and make sure local cops and firefighters get safe equipment. The cost might go up for hobbyists but I think its worth it for national security.
